Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayTube iOS application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

2. The App

PlayTube is a media player and web browsing app. It lets you play media files stored on your device, organize playlists and bookmarks, browse the web, and watch web video with conveniences such as Picture in Picture, background audio, AirPlay, playback speed control, and a sleep timer.

3. Premium subscription

• PlayTube Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly) that removes ads and unlocks premium features. Current prices are always shown in the App before purchase and may vary by country or region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• You can restore previous purchases with the "Restore purchase" button in the App.
• Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Third-party content

Web pages and videos you access through the App (including YouTube) are third-party content owned by their respective owners and subject to their own terms — for YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service. The App displays such content as a browser/viewer and claims no ownership of it. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or legality of third-party content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to violate any law or third-party right, to access content you are not permitted to access, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the App except where permitted by law, or to use the App in any way that could harm others. You are responsible for the media files you store in and play through the App.

6. Ads and privacy

The free version of the App shows advertising provided by Google AdMob. Data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content will remain available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
